Surveillance Systems

We are sure you see surveillance cameras around you all the time.

Below you will find answers to following questions:

1. Why do you need the CCTV system

2. What are the components of the system

3. What to expect during installation

4. How much will it cost

Why do you need the system

  • Loss Prevention ( Stores, Stock Rooms, Offices)
  • Premises monitoring
  • Employee misconduct
  • Legal claims proof

We want to demystify how the system works so with knowledge comes the confidence that you are getting the right system.

1. Digital Video Recorder (DVR): this unit is the center of the system, it allows you to record, store, search, rewind and export video data your are getting from cameras, it also can control Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras and respond to alarm triggers.

2. Cameras: your options are unlimited, but the better the camera you are getting the better the recording quality. Look for number of TV lines general rule of thumb high number of TV lines means high quality. (need more info?)

3. Monitor: Viewing is available either through monitor connected to DVR or over the ethernet network. Higher viewing quality is through direct DVR connection.

4. Router: You can view your CCTV system not just inside your office; remote viewing from any point of the world is available as long as you have internet connection.

5. Client: PC equipped with internet browser can serve as a viewing station to monitor your system remotely. Most plug-ins for client viewing is limited to Windows OS. Please call if you need it for Mac OS, or Linux client.

6. Remote Storage: It is possible to upload your video feed to the remote location for safe keeping, makes sense then you want to make sure your video feed cannot be removed from the premises by intruders.

 What to expect during installation:

During installation DVR will have to be placed in the secure location, which has power and ethernet connection (if network and remote viewing is desirable), video and power cables to cameras will be run through drop ceiling. Router will be configured by us to allow remote viewing (please have you router password available)

Pricing out the options:

Please visit our package page to have a ballpark estimate of your system hardware and installation cost.
